FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Working with Portalworks

Who is my point of contact at Portalworks?

Marc Hermann, Managing Director of Portalworks GmbH. He answers your enquiry himself and remains your point of contact throughout the project.

How quickly does Portalworks respond to enquiries?

Usually within 24 hours. For operations customers with an agreed alert hotline, the response times defined there apply.

Does Portalworks work on a fixed-price or time-and-materials basis?

For clearly defined projects such as migrations and enhancements, we offer fixed prices based on a preliminary analysis. For ongoing support and open-ended development, billing by effort is common. We clarify what makes more sense in your case in the initial call.

Where is Portalworks based, and do you work remotely?

Portalworks GmbH is based in Mainz, Germany, at Lion-Feuchtwanger-Straße 11. We deliver projects across the DACH region, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Collaboration is mostly remote; on-site workshops and meetings are possible.

Is the initial call free of charge?

Yes. The initial call about migration, new development or operations is free of charge and non-binding. If needed, it leads to a preliminary analysis as the basis for a fixed-price offer.

Where is our data hosted?

With managed hosting by Portalworks, your data stays in Germany in compliance with the GDPR. Alternatively, we run the systems in your own infrastructure, on premises or in your cloud environment.
