Liferay DXP — With 2025.Q1, Liferay has published the first LTS release under the new quarterly release model, offering extended support and thus particular planning certainty for long-term enterprise projects. Also new is in-page translation of Object Form Fields: editors can localize fields directly in the Page Editor without leaving the editing experience. Of strategic significance is the announced migration from Java EE 8 to Jakarta EE 10, expected from Q3 2025 — if you run custom code, you should review the migration paths early.
Magnolia CMS — Version 6.4 is a major update with expanded AI-assisted content creation, a technology base migrated to Jakarta EE 10, a publishing engine that is more than 70% faster and WCAG-compliant accessibility. The new AI-powered image editor is integrated directly into Magnolia and lets you adjust aspect ratios, remove backgrounds and add elements — without switching to external tools. For enterprise projects with high asset volumes and multilingual requirements, the release is a clear productivity gain.
Headless CMS (Strapi) — Strapi AI is now generally available and is positioned as the foundation for all future AI automation within Strapi, starting with the Content Type Builder and Media Library. An AI copilot turns a project brief, a code repository or a Figma link into complete content models — including collection types, components and relations. This considerably accelerates project setup and is particularly relevant for new Strapi projects and migrations from v4 to v5.
Flutter — On April 14, Flutter 3.29.3 was released as a stable hotfix release addressing critical issues following the 3.29.0 release, which launched in February with Impeller as the default renderer on iOS and Android. With 3.29, Impeller now reaches 100% of all supported Android devices — a milestone for consistent rendering quality in production Flutter apps without any further configuration.
