Portalworks is now a Liferay Silver Partner

We’ve been working with Liferay since 2008—and we’re now an official Silver Partner. What that means, what it specifically means for our customers, and what won’t change as a result

Liferay has added Portalworks to its partner program as a Silver Partner. For us, this is less of a new beginning and more of an official confirmation: Liferay has been our core business since 2008, with over 50 completed projects—ranging from portal customizations to enterprise migrations, such as the recent one for Lufthansa Technik.

What the partner status means in concrete terms

Silver status is tied to proven project experience and certified expertise. This results in three tangible benefits for our customers:

A direct line to Liferay. As a partner, we have access to the Liferay partner network and to technical contacts at the vendor. If a problem lies deep within the product, we don’t have to go through the public support channel.

One-stop license consulting. We can directly support DXP subscriptions—from needs analysis and sizing to procurement. You won’t have to negotiate separately with both the agency and the manufacturer.

Early access to releases and the roadmap. Partner information on upcoming quarterly releases is directly incorporated into our migration and architecture consulting—as was recently the case with the integration of 2026.Q1 LTS and the new CMS.

What Won’t Change

Our approach remains the same: a single point of contact, personalized consulting from an expert rather than a sales team, fixed-price quotes, and a focus on what makes technical sense—not on what sells best. Partner status does not affect our independence in consulting; it simply streamlines communication when it comes to the product itself.
